Channel 4, the official broadcaster of London 2012 Paralympic Games launched a LIVEPOSTER™ campaign on London’s Transvision and XTP screens this summer, providing the public with top coverage of the Paralympic action in real-time and driving them to the C4 Paralympic Highlights show each evening.
Rolled out on the 6th August, the campaign started with a countdown to the opening ceremony, building excitement and anticipation around the city. Once the games were under-way, the ads were updated throughout the day with breaking news and images from the day’s events. This was alternated with a live medals table that was played out across the digital screens, showcasing Team GB’s success.
The dynamic campaign allowed for numerous ads to be created and played out each day meaning that an important moment was never missed and C4 was able to provide the public with up-to-date Paralympic news like never before.

From this month, lastminute.com is taking-over XTP screens every Friday for the next 22 weeks, inspiring Londoner’s to bag one of their last minute deals as a spontaneous treat. The full-day take-over is the first of its kind and marks the launch of CBS’s new XTP Live package, working in conjunction with our LIVEPOSTER™ technology.
Running for 18 hours a day, we have designed and created a live content feed of lastminute.com’s latest deals. The LIVEPOSTER™ technology allows for numerous daily executions meaning that adverts can be updated with the most recent offers and tailored to the changing audience throughout the day, maximising the campaign’s impact.
A live social feed will also be added in a second phase of the campaign, showcasing lastminute.com’s nation of ‘prouders’ – customers who are proud of the experiences they booked through them, bringing to life lastminute.com’s promise of making the unattainable attainable – for everyone. The content will be pulled from Twitter, where ordinary people have sent images of themselves ‘prouding’ in extraordinary places, using #prouding and #foreveryone.

Eurostar’s LIVEPOSTER™ campaign, promoting it’s service from London to Amsterdam via Brussels, went live across 363 digital screens in London and the South East on February 20th for 4 weeks.
The live platform allowed for real-time updates about Eurostar’s London – Amsterdam service, including a countdown to the next departure time as well as onboard updates throughout the journey. Truly interactive, the platform was also integrated with Facebook and Twitter, meaning comments from bloggers could be live on screen in minutes, allowing for numerous unique executions everyday.
The campaign, which ran until March 19th supported the strapline ‘Now from the heart of London to the soul of Amsterdam’ created by Fallon.

Channel 4 has brought its distinctive news and commentary to live cross track advertisement boards (XTPs) on the London underground in a LIVEPOSTER™ campaign running for 4 weeks from mid November. Showcasing top stories combined with tweets and blogs from its News presenters, Channel 4 aims to drive viewers to its flagship 7pm News bulletin.
A media first for Channel 4, the Live Poster technology allows C4 and ITN to automatically publish dynamic copy and content throughout the day, a facility that was previously unavailable to other advertisers without significant human input.
Content related directly to that evening’s bulletin is provided by ITN from 4-7pm each day, catching commuters on their journey home. If there’s a breaking news story close to transmission, ITN will have the ability to update headlines and content, ensuring people are provided with the very latest news updates.
